Is it God they are trusting in, or "will to power"? Through their plans to build nuclear weapons, they witness not to the mercy of God, but to their own ambitions and hatred. Behind Islamist governments is islamofacist ideology. In the early days of German facism, many we're caught of guard. Let us not make the same mistake today.

What is deeply ironic, is that Ahamdiejad's comments amount almost to a declaration of war on Israel and the United States. His words could removed any concerns that attacking Iran's nuclear facilities is justified. Perhaps that is what he wants all along. Whether Christian, Muslim, Secular, or whatever, history shows that there are men and women who have more love for war than love for God's mercy. Let all people who love mercy be on guard against those who would unleash the evil of war.
